By adding Aegis to a Discord server or signing in to the dashboard, you agree to what is written here.
What Aegis is
A security bot for Discord servers, with a web dashboard. There is a free plan and a paid plan. The free plan is not a trial and is not scheduled to end.
Using it
- You need Manage Server on a server to configure Aegis there.
- Do not use Aegis to break Discord's Terms of Service or its Community Guidelines.
- Do not attack the service: no attempts to break the dashboard, forge sessions, abuse the API, or interfere with other servers using Aegis.
- Do not resell access, and do not redistribute or resell licence keys.
What it cannot promise
Aegis is a tool, not a guarantee. It reduces the damage an attack does. It cannot promise your server will never be raided, nuked or spammed.
Detection depends on Discord's audit log and gateway, both of which can be delayed or incomplete, and on the permissions and settings you give the bot. Recovery restores structure, not history: snapshots cover channels and roles with their permissions. Discord provides no way for a bot to recover deleted messages, so Aegis does not claim to. The service is provided as-is, without warranty, and is not liable for losses arising from an attack it did not stop or a restore that was incomplete.
Availability
Aegis aims to run continuously but is not sold with an uptime guarantee. It may be taken down for maintenance, updates or reasons outside anyone's control. Planned work is announced in the support server, and current state is posted in the status channel.
Paying
- Premium is sold per server. One key activates one server.
- Prices are shown before purchase. Access lasts for the period bought.
- Keys are signed and single-purpose. Sharing or reselling them voids them.
- When premium ends, the server drops to the free plan. Protection keeps running; premium features stop.
Refunds
If premium does not work and it cannot be fixed, ask in the support server within 14 days of purchase and you will be refunded. Refunds are not given for a key that has been redeemed and used, for changing your mind, or where a feature is working as described. Statutory rights in your country apply on top of this and are not overridden.
Ending it
You can remove Aegis from your server at any time. Access may be withdrawn from a server that abuses the service, breaks Discord's rules, or attacks the infrastructure; where that happens to a paying server without cause, the unused portion is refunded.
Changes
These terms may change. Material changes are posted in the support server. Continuing to use Aegis after that means accepting the new version.
