Before you install
Questions worth answering.
Only people with Manage Server or Administrator on a server Aegis has joined. There is no hardcoded operator role, and permission is re-checked live on every request rather than trusted from a login.
Whitelist it. Two anti-nuke bots watching the same audit log will each read the other's actions as an attack. One line on the trusted list prevents it.
It restores structure, not history. Snapshots cover channels and roles with their permissions, so the layout comes back in one command. Discord gives bots no way to recover deleted messages, and anyone claiming otherwise is guessing.
Run /autosetup and Aegis creates its own log channel, alert channel and roles, then wires itself to them. After that, pick a preset or fine-tune from the dashboard.
